Built to keep up with ORC and IRC racing fleets, without losing comfort on a cruise, the Fuoriserie version it has a sporty soul in its lines and ease of use spaces, ergonomically usable. The innovative symmetrical layout allows for a perfect fit weight distribution and the boat can be equipped with carbon mast, boom and carbon tiller, and is configurable for offshore regattas, even with a crew double handed, and integrated carbon bowsprit, for asymmetrical sails. In the interior, the weights are reduced in the removable canvas cabinets and structures designed to reduce any damage during the storage of the sails during the regatta.
The deck layout is extremely clean and simple, developed to be practical for sailing and for living onboard. The removable benches in the cockpit make for exceptionally ample seating space. Optional include a removable cockpit table, a foldable stern gangplank, a dolphin striker with an integrated anchor on roller and a furling forestay with a built-in drum. Exterior design The setup is conceived for double-handed sailing when safety and performance is key.
The interiors of the IY 11.98 come from an accurate design process, for a sailing boat ideal for those racing sailors who do not disdain spaces and volumes typical of a comfortable cruising yacht. The interior layout includes three cabins, one in front and two symmetrical ones in the back, all with double beds and cabinets, two toilets – one on the right and a shower on the left, and enough storage spaces for a family cruise.
