Erinia Island is located below the Sporades Complex in the Aegean, and it is between Skyros and Skyropoula island. It is 3 miles from the Skyros port ( Linaria) and it is exposed to the Southern winds. The size of the island is 550.000sq. m. It is flat and covered with medium sized cedar trees and is made up or red soil. It has a small house and a church. As noted in the contract, the part of land measuring 150.000sq. m. was used for farming purposes, producing wheat and barley. In the past, about 200 goats grazed in a range, from October to April (winter period). The former owner maintained a lobster farm on the southern point of the island. The island also has old quarries of the well known pink – white soft marble.
